The largest UK supplier of spares for kerosene stoves and lanterns, The Base Camp, will be selling at the Festival of Antiques on Friday 1st & Saturday 2nd October, let’s take a look at some of the items they are bringing with them…

The Base Camp is a specialist equipment retailer who has been trading since 1986. They are the UK’s main stockist for spares for Aladdin, Tilley, Coleman, Bialaddin, Vapalux, Magnalux, Anchor, Petromax, Hipolito & Optimus paraffin, (Kerosene) lanterns. The Base Camp’s Obsolete Parts Register keeps details of enthusiasts and collectors requests, which they match up with obsolete parts during their International searches for caches of lantern and stove spares.

The Base Camp is the largest UK range of replacement burners, shade holders and accessories for paraffin lamps. Some are ‘antique finish’ to blend in with patinated lamps, the range includes Kosmos, Odin, Ideal and Pigeon types. Make sure to visit them at Peterborough and ask them any questions you may have regarding antique lighting!

You can find their wonderful items for sale at The Festival of Antiques, outside on stall W016. Purchase tickets for The Festival of Antiques today and make sure you visit The Base Camp’s stand!
